HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM YOUR CW HOA!
Another holiday season is behind us and let’s hope that a “new and improved” year awaits. The promise of a vaccine that will eventually be available to all those facing this pandemic is a great start! However, it is still too early to let our guard down! PLEASE continue to be diligent in your social distancing and wear your masks. Remember, your mask not only protects you, it protects us all.
As you are all aware, Your HOA and Civic Association are moving toward joining forces to better serve the needs of our community. We received very positive feedback from the announcement and we will be working toward this move over the next couple of weeks. Many details still need to be worked out, and after a break for the holiday we are ready to get back to work. We will keep you all posted as we move forward in this venture.
I recently asked our County Commissioner, Jack Mariano, why our cost of water services is markedly higher than surrounding communities. He and his office staff were very helpful with information and also directed me to contacts at the state level. The most logical reason I received regarding the higher cost was due to the aging infrastructure in the area, not just our park community, but the Hudson area as well. He also verified that Hudson Water Works is in “sale pending” status and he has voiced his preference that it be purchased by Pasco County. He strongly stated that Your HOA’s involvement in this could help the cause. So, I will keep you all posted as we continue to pursue this issue.
The new HOA email address is now in place. If you have not yet received a test e-blast, please send your email address to us at CWHOAGROUP2020@gmail.com and I will add your name to the list.
The weeks ahead should bring us some welcome news regarding the re-opening of our clubhouse facilities. Be sure to stay tuned for more information on guidelines for its use.
We are continuing to collect the 2021 HOA dues of $20. Please make your check out to Club Wildwood HOA and send to Sharon Altonen, HOA Treasurer, 7606 Cottman St, Hudson, Florida 34667. Dues basically helps cover the cost of our operating expenses.
Please continue to take care of each other as we work together to control this nasty virus.
Jan Hogan and Your HOA Team.
